Modest Mouse are curating - and they've got some high-profile acts...

Lou Reed and Flaming Lips are among the acts confirmed to play the American leg of the ALL TOMORROW’S PARTIES festival.

The Modest Mouse-curated event takes place over November 6/7 in the Long Beach area of Los Angeles, on a boat called Queen Mary. More than 50 bands will play on two stages over the course of the weekend, also including The Shins, The Cramps and The Walkmen.

As previously revealed on NME.COM, the ATP ‘Nightmare Before Christmas’ bash takes place at Camber Sands Holiday Centre, East Sussex between December 3-5. The event will be curated by controversial artists Jake and Dinos Chapman.

Headlining the festival will be Throbbing Gristle and Mercury Rev, with other acts including Shellac, Violent Femmes, Carl Craig, [/a], The Minutemen, [a], Wolf Eyes, and Lightning Bolt.

Tickets will be priced at £120, which include a three-day festival pass and three-nights accommodation. Performances start from mid-afternoon with bars and DJ sets going on until dawn.

’Nightmare Before Christmas’ tickets can be purchased directly through www.atpfestival.com and are available in blocks of 4,5,6,7 or 8 due to the specifications of the accommodation.
