Mac DeMarco added to Field Day line-up

DeMarco joins Ride and Patti Smith on Sunday of London festival

Mac DeMarco has been added to the line-up for Field Day in June.

The Canadian artist will play the Sunday of the festival, which takes place in London’s Victoria Park between June 6-7. He joins Patti Smith and headliners Ride on the bill.

Patti Smith and her band will play the 1975 album ‘Horses’ in full on the Sunday of the two-day festival. As previously revealed, Ride will headline that day as part of their 2015 reunion tour.

DIIV will also appear on the Sunday, as will Ducktails, Jane Weaver and Liverpool band Outfit.

Meanwhile, Caribou will headline the Saturday of the festival on a bill which will also see appearances from Django Django, Chet Faker, Owen Pallett, Sophie, Tei Shi, Ten Walls and Kindness. Clark, Daniel Avery, Madlib, Andrew Weatherall and Ghost Culture will also be in attendance on June 6.

The London festival launched in 2007 as a one-dayer and takes place annually in London’s Victoria Park. Last year’s line-up included performances from headliners Metronomy and Pixies.
