In 2015, DeMarco covered Irving Berlin/Bing Crosby’s ‘White Christmas’ and now he’s posted another holiday-themed track online.

The song comes with artwork that features an illustration of DeMarco and McCartney on a sofa together, with the caption: “It was a Christmas miracle. We had become one, we melded.”

“Paul’s thoughts became mine and mine became his. Flies had gathered to feed on all the beauty of Christmas that seeped from our pores.”

Earlier this month (December 12), DeMarco met Tom Hanks while wearing a t-shirt with both of their faces on.

The musician and actor were both guests on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, and DeMarco shared a photo of the pair hanging out on his Instagram page.

Hanks was present to promote his upcoming new film The Post, which also stars Meryl Streep and Sarah Paulson. DeMarco, meanwhile, was the episode’s musical guest. He performed a version of ‘One Another’, which appeared on his latest album ‘This Old Dog‘.

“Had a #gr8time,” DeMarco captioned the post, which included a close-up photo of the Hanks-starring shirt. The item of clothing features Hanks reading from a newspaper, stood next to the musician. “The book of revelation speaks of a being called Sivad Mij,” he said. “He is said to be the bringer of the apocalypse… Don’t you see it DeMarco?”

It continued: “Sivad Mij backwards is Jim Davis, creator of Garfield! My god what is he trying to show us in this strip?” Beneath the image was a parody Garfield comic strip.
