Fan says she won’t take legal action after Madonna pulls her top down onstage

There had been speculation over whether the incident constituted as sexual assault

The fan that Madonna appeared to accidentally expose the breast of onstage at her gig in Brisbane last night (March 17) has stated that she doesn’t intend to press charges against the singer.

Footage surfaced online showing the singer complimenting the concertgoer before tugging at her top, which was pulled down to reveal the individual’s breast to the crowd.

Madonna responded by swiftly apologising to the fan, saying: “Oh shit. I am so sorry, sexual harassment. You can do the same to me if you’d like”.

Josephine Georgiou, 17, later told Brisbane’s Courier Mail newspaper: “Seriously, why would I sue Madonna for the best moment of my life? It was the best night.”

“She was calling me a Victoria’s Secret model the whole time I was on stage, which is so flattering. Only I get to decide if I’m humiliated or not. Why would people assume I am humiliated by my own breast, nipple or body?”

Georgiou also denied that the incident had been staged.

There had been speculation that Madonna could face charges over the incident due to what could constitute as sexual assault.
