Madonna set to score Number One album with ‘MDNA’

Chris Brown leading the race to Number One in Official Singles Chart

Madonna is on course to score a Number One album with ‘MDNA’ this Sunday (April 1).

The singer is set to knock Paul Weller – who was last week’s Number One with ‘Sonik Kicks’, off the top spot with her twelfth studio album, reports the Official Charts Company .

The Modfather is likely to drop down six places to Number Seven, with David Guetta holding onto his Number Two slot with ‘Nothing But The Beat’ and Katy Perry’s Complete Confection edition of ‘Teenage Dream’ moving to Number 5.

Further down the chart, Mars Volta’s ‘Noctourniquet’ sits at Number 31, Blood Red Shoes’ ‘In Time To Voices’ debuts at Number 36 and Madonna’s ‘The Complete Studio Albums’ enters at Number 39.

In the singles chart, Chris Brown is currently leading the race to the Number One slot with ‘Turn Up The Music’. He knocks Katy Perry’s ‘Part Of Me’ off the top position into Number Three.

Sean Paul looks like he’ll stay at Number Two, with his new track ‘She Doesn’t Mind’ still going strong, and Plan B will enter the charts at Number 6 with ‘Ill Manors’.
