Madonna to debut new single ‘Give Me All Your Luvin” on ‘American Idol’

Queen of Pop will perform track for the first time on February 2

Madonna will debut her new single ‘Give Me all Your Luvinn” on American Idol later this week (February 2).

The Queen of Pop has confirmed she will perform the track for the first time on this Thursday’s episode of the US reality show, with the song set to get its official release the following day (February 3).

The track is taken from the singer’s 12th studio album ‘MDNA’, which is the follow-up to her 2008 effort ‘Hard Candy’. Last week (January 27), she posted footage of herself recording the LP online. The clip, which you can watch by scrolling down and clicking below, sees the singer working with MIA and one of the record’s producers Martin Solveig.

Madonna – who recently promised that the record would be “more action-packed” and “more high-energy” – has also spoken out about teaming up again with producer William Orbit, who she worked with on her 1998 album ‘Ray Of Light’.

“We’ve worked on stuff for so many years that we kind of finish each other’s sentences,” she said. “He knows my taste and what I like. Magic happens when we get into a recording studio together.”

Madonna recently took the award for Best Original Song at the Golden Globes. She won the prize for the song ‘Masterpiece’, which is taken from the soundtrack to WE, a film she also directed. The star is also set to perform tracks from ‘MDNA’ during this year’s Super Bowl half-time show.
