Madonna posts ‘MDNA’ studio footage online – video

Singer describes her new LP as 'action packed'

Madonna has posted footage from the studio of her recording her new album ‘MDNA’ online.

The clip, which you can watch by scrolling down and clicking below, sees the singer working with MIA and one of the record’s producers Martin Solveig.

Madonna is also seen playing a guitar and dancing around her New York studio in the clip.

Meanwhile, the singer has also spoken about the tone of her 12th studio LP, which is the follow up to 2008’s ‘Hard Candy’.

She told MTV.COM:

I think the majority of the record is more action-packed. More high-energy.

Madonna also spoke about teaming up with producer William Orbit again. She previously worked with him on her 1998 album ‘Ray Of Light’.

“We’ve worked on stuff for so many years that we kind of finish each other’s sentences,” she said. “He knows my taste and what I like. Magic happens when we get into a recording studio together.”

Madonna recently took the award for Best Original Song at the Golden Globes. She won the prize for the song ‘Masterpiece’, which is taken from the soundtrack to WE, a film she also directed.
