Her 12th studio album is set for release later in the year

Madonna has revealed that the name of her forthcoming new album will be ‘MDNA’.

‘MDNA’ is Madonna’s 12th studio album and her first effort since 2008’s ‘Hard Candy’. Madonna broke the news of the title during a pre-recorded interview with Graham Norton for his BBC1 show.

The pop icon will release the track in the last week of January, shortly before she takes to the stage to perform during the half-time show of Super Bowl XLVI on February 5. The completed version of the new track features Nicki Minaj and MIA .
