Madonna to release new single ‘Gimme All Your Luvin” in January 2012

First taster from singer's 12th studio album out early next year

Madonna has announced that she will release her new single ‘Gimme All Your Luvin” in January 2012.

The pop icon will release the track in the last week of January next year, shortly before she takes to the stage to perform during the half-time show of Super Bowl XLVI on February 5.

The song will feature on Madonna‘s as-yet-untitled 12th studio album, which will be her first effort since 2008’s ‘Hard Candy’. Earlier today (15), it was reported that the singer had signed a three-album deal with Interscope Records, which will see her pocket $1 million (£645,000) for each LP she releases.

With Madonna still set to tour under her 10-year multi-deal with Live Nation, which she inked back in 2007, Interscope chairman Jimmy Iovine said: “Very rarely does an opportunity like this come around. We would like to thank Madonna, Guy [Oseary, manager] and Live Nation for their belief in us.”

Earlier this year, Madonna reacted angrily after a demo version of ‘Gimme All Your Luvin” titled ‘Give Me All Your Love’ was leaked online. The completed version of the track features Nicki Minaj and MIA .

Minaj recently used her Twitter account to boast about locking lips with Madonna for the single’s video, claiming it had felt “so good” to kiss her.
