Madonna confirmed to perform at next year’s Super Bowl

Madge's much rumoured appearance at Super Bowl XLVI is definitely happening

Madonna has confirmed that she will be performing during next year’s Super Bowl half-time show.

The singer, who is currently working on her 12th studio album, which is due for release in the summer of next year, was first rumoured to have signed a deal perform at Super Bowl XLVI back in October and has now been confirmed to do so, reports E! Online.

The annual Super Bowl is one of the most-watched sports events in the world, with a half-time performance guaranteeing unprecedented levels of exposure for any artist.

Black Eyed Peas performed during last year’s game, with Janet Jackson, Prince, Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty and The Who all appearing in recent years.

Super Bowl XLVI will take place on February 5 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Madonna is also thought to be preparing to release her new single ‘Give Me All Your Love’ at around that time.

MIA and Nicki Minaj have both been confirmed to guest on ‘Give Me All Your Love’.
