MADONNA’S next single, ‘AMERICAN LIFE’, will be released as a digital download for less than a £1 before it becomes available on CD.
The track will be downloadable from March 24 Madonna’s website [url=]madonna.com. The track is only available in the US.
Once downloaded, fans will be able to listen to the track on their computer, transfer it or burn it to a CD.
The CD single will be released in April, including remixes by Missy Elliott, Peter Rauhofer, [/a] and [a].
‘American Life’ is the title track from her forthcoming album, which Madonna says reflects her “current state of mind”.
In a statement on her website, she says, “I feel like I have just woken up out of a dream. They range from dismay and anger to joy and certainty. Hopefully, I have taken the personal and made it universal.”
The album is due for release on April 21.
