The star will appear in an hour-long talk show special hosted by Michael Parkinson...
Madonna is to take part in an hour-long Christmas special of UK talk show hosted by MICHAEL PARKINSON, despite turning down all offers to appear on American chat shows.
According to reports in UK tabloids, she wants to talk about her personal life, in particular the health of her three-month-old son Rocco, who spent a week in intensive care after his birth.
The Mirror this morning (October 16) reports that veteran talk-show host Parkinson himself personally persuaded Madonna to appear. A source close to the BBC is quoted as saying: “He is a charming man and had a chat with her about coming on the new series of the talk show. He said he would be firm but fair with her and told her whose footsteps she?d be following in.”
Previous guests on the show include pop elite such as George Michael, Paul McCartney, as well as a host of Hollywood stars.
