Madonna says leak of new song ‘Rebel Heart’ ‘violated her as a human’

Two tracks from artist's forthcoming album appeared online in November

Madonna has reacted angrily after new song ‘Rebel Heart’ leaked online.

As reported, two of Madonna’s new songs appeared online in November including a track titled ‘Wash All Over Me’ and the Avicii collaboration ‘Rebel Heart’.

Yesterday (December 4) Madonna posted a picture on Instagram of a smashed iPod complete with the caption “”This broken iPod is a symbol of my broken heart! That my music has been stolen and leaked! I have been violated as a human and an artist! #fuckedupshit”” in relation to the leak.

The source of the leak puzzled Madonna and her team with the singer’s manager Guy Oseary taking to Twitter to seek help in finding the culprit. “I would be grateful to any Madonna fans that can assist us in finding those responsible for the leak. We appreciate your help,” he posted.

The 56-year-old is currently working on a follow up to her 2012 album ‘MDNA’, with Alicia Keys, Diplo, Ariel Pink and Swedish DJ Avicii among her recent collaborators.
