Madonna and her son David have covered Elvis Presley‘s ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’.
Posting a clip to her Instagram account, Madonna captioned it “Lisbon Living Room Sessions! On.” The video sees Madonna play guitar and sing while David accompanies her with piano and backing vocals.
The cover sees the pair stopping and starting a few times, while at the end of the video, Madonna says she wants to ‘do it again’. Watch the pair perform the cover here.
Last month, the pop superstar teased her first new music since 2015. Her thirteenth studio album ‘Rebel Heart’ was released in March 2015 and now it seems the singer has hinted at some new material.
Posting what appears to be cover art for a single or project which carries the title ‘Beautiful Game’, Madonna captioned the Instagram pic with “That I Never Learned… Coming Soon!”
The caption also tagged the French producer Mirwais, who worked with Madonna on such records as ‘Music’ and ‘American Life’.
Meanwhile, DJ Fontana, the sole surviving member of Elvis Presley‘s band, died earlier this month at the age of 87.
The drummer, real name Dominic Joseph Fontana, played on more than 450 of The King’s iconic tracks – including ‘Jailhouse Rock’ and ‘Hound Dog’.
His son Dave announced the drummer’s passing with a statement on Facebook: “I told everyone that I would keep you posted. My Dad passed away in his sleep at 9:33 tonight.
“He was very comfortable with no pain. I will post more tomorrow when I have more information. We ask for privacy at this time. Thank you for your love and prayers.”
As well as featuring on a string of Elvis’ most famous hits, Fontana also appeared on the legendary 1968 comeback special.
