Welsh veterans will celebrate 20 years of King Tut's
Manic Street Preachers have announced that they will play at Glasgow‘s King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut on February 18, as part of the venue’s 20th anniversary celebrations.
The venue has hosted many bands during the early days of their careers. It was there that Alan McGee saw Oasis for the first time in May 1993 and made the decision there and then to sign them to his Creation Records label.
There will be a number of other major artists toasting King Tut’s with performances over the coming weeks.
Tickets for the 300-capacity Manic Street Preachers‘ show will go on sale on Wednesday (January 27) at 9am (GMT).
