Running between 15-17 July, The Manics – comprised of James Dean Bradfield, Nicky Wire and Sean Moore – shall headline Saturday night of the event on the main stage. Fans can expect to hear the likes of Faster, Design For Life, Your Love Alone and more tracks spanning their 30 year career.
Festival favourites Catfish and The Bottlemen will headline the main stage on Friday. The BBC Introducing Award winners will also be joined by Circa Waves, Young Fathers, Jack Savoretti and hotly tipped Rat Boy.
The band have also been named as the latest headliners of Liverpool Sound City 2016. They join fellow headliners The Coral at the festival, which takes place across five docklands stages in Liverpool between May 28-29.
Catfish and The Bottlemen are among a raft of new additions to the Liverpool Sound City line-up with Hot Chip, Leftfield and Floating Points also confirmed for the two day event.

The Coral band have reunited after a five year break and will mark their return with a homecoming gig at the festival. They headline the main stage on the iconic Liverpool Waters Bramley-Moore Dock on May 29.
Liverpool Sound City 2015 was headlined by The Vaccines, Flaming Lips and Belle and Sebastian. Other acts on the bill included Everything Everything, Spector, Gaz Coombes, The Cribs, Stealing Sheep and The Thurston Moore Band.
