MORE TICKETS RELEASED FOR TSUNAMI BENEFIT GIG

Organisers of the LIVE AID tsunami benefit gig in CARDIFF will issue 1,000 extra tickets later today (January 18).

The move comes after the production team at the Millennium Stadium decided that more seats could be sold now that the main elements of the stage are in place.

Seated tickets, priced from £22.50 to £30, for the January 22 gig will go on sale from Ticketmaster by telephone only from 1.30pm.

Organisers are hoping to raise £1 million for victims of the disaster from the show, which will kick off at 3.30pm.

Confirmed acts for the bill include Manic Street Preachers, Stereophonics frontman Kelly Jones, Eric Clapton, Embrace, Feeder, [/a], [a] and Badly Drawn Boy.
