Two tracks from the New Year's Eve 1999 gig feature, as well as a handful of new songs...

MANIC STREET PREACHERS will include live material recorded at their biggest ever headline show, in CARDIFF on New Year’s Eve 1999, on the B-side to their new singles, ‘SO WHY SO SAD’ and ‘FOUND THAT SOUL’.

Both singles have been brought forward, and will now be released on February 26 via Epic. The ‘So Why So Sad’ single will be backed by new track ‘Pedestal’, an ‘Avalanche Remix’ of the title track, and a live version of ‘You Stole The Sun From My Heart’ from Cardiff Millennium Stadium.

Its sister single, ‘Found That Soul’, will be backed by new tracks ‘Locust Valley’ and ‘Ballad Of The Bangkok Novotel’, as well as a live version of ‘The Masses Against The Classes’ across the formats.

As a result of the singles moving forward, new album ‘Know Your Enemy’ will now be released a week earlier on March 19, via Epic. Speaking recently about the record, bassist Nicky Wire said: “‘Gold Against The Soul’ made us do ‘The Holy Bible’ and ‘This Is My Truth…’ made us do this…

“I know every band says their newest album is their best, but I don’t really think that, I just think it’s one of the best albums of all time, not our best.”
