Manic Street Preachers will appear with The Verve at Ireland's Slane Castle in August...

Manic Street Preachers have revealed to NME they will debut some material from their long-awaited new album when they appear as support to The Verve at Ireland’s Slane Castle on August 29.

The Manics last live performance was in Tipperary in August 1997. They embark on a full tour after their album is released on September 7. Details are expected in July.
