Manics, Glasvegas, Primal Scream members to appear on Hillsborough Justice Campaign UK tour

James Dean Bradfield, James Allan and Jon McClure will make cameos on the tour

Manic Street Preachers frontman James Dean Bradfield, Glasvegas singer James Allan and members of Primal Scream are all set to make cameo appearances on the UK tour for the Hillsborough Justice Campaign.

The tour, which will see Mick Jones play songs by The Clash live for the first time in nearly 30 years, calls at six venues across the UK and will feature a series of special guest appearances.

James Dean Bradfield will play live at the tour’s opening night at Cardiff University Solus on December 1, with Richard Hawley and Reverend And The Makers frontman Jon McClure booked to appear at the tour’s show at Sheffield Leadmill on December 3.

Members of Primal Scream, including singer Bobby Gillespie, will make a live cameo during the gig at London Scala on December 8 and finally Glasvegas frontman James Allan will appear as part of the tour’s closing gig at Glasgow‘s O2 ABC on December 10.

The Justice Tonight tour aims to promote the campaign set up by the friends and family of the 96 people who lost their lives in the Hillsborough disaster in 1989. As well as Mick Jones, singer-songwriter Pete Wylie and Liverpool band The Farm will also play each night of the six shows.
