Guitarist Dominic Chad says the band are halfway through recording the follow-up to 'Little Kix'...

MANSUN are halfway through recording their fourth studio album, according to guitarist DOMINIC CHAD.

According to a posting on the official Mansun website at, the group are working on a number of new tracks, and the band hope to release a new single in December with UK live shows to accompany the release.

Working titles for some of the new songs, which are being recorded in Sussex , include ‘No Signal, No Complaints’, ‘Wanted So Much’, ‘This Is My Home’, ‘These Days’ and ‘Right To The End Of The Earth’.

Speaking previously to NME.COM, Chad indicated the band’s new material would be “harder” than last year’s ‘Little Kix’ album.

He said: “I think, songwriting-wise, we’re always trying to write songs to be the best that we can. We’ll probably try and make it sound harder than ‘Little Kix’ because ‘Little Kix’ is a laid back record and there are quite a few mid-tempo tracks on it. We want to strip the whole thing down and be a four-piece guitar band.”
