Guitarist Chad hints the band may also play this year's Glastonbury Festival...

Mansun have completed work on their third studio album ‘The Trouble With Relationships’, and are currently putting the finishing touches to a series of EP’s which will be released later in the year.

Writing on the band’s official website, [url=], lead guitarist Dominic Chad said: “We’ve finished the album and are working on the tracks for the five EPs now, so we can’t wait to get the record out and hear your feedback.”

Chad revealed that the band are “excited” about returning to the live arena, and are in the process of lining up festival appearances and a UK tour.

He said “We’re starting to think about touring, and which festivals we’ll do this coming summer, and we’re quite excited about the prospect of some live shows as it’s been a while. As you know, there’s nothing we like better than playing live, and getting a chance to catch up with all of you guys, so 2000 should prove to be a good year. Once again, hope you like the stuff, and see you all soon.”

A UK spokesperson for the band told that it was “very unlikely” Mansun would be releasing anything before the start of the summer, and the band had no plans to play live before then.

Speaking previously on an unofficial Mansun website [url=], Mansun vocalist Paul Draper hinted the band are to play this year’s Glastonbury Festival, as well as revealing five song titles which may be included on the new album. They are ‘Electric Man’, ‘I Can Only Disappoint You’, ‘A New Beginning’, ‘Forgive Me’ and ‘Rock ‘N’ Roll Loser’. Other working titles include ‘How To Lose Friends And Influence No One’, ‘Soundtrack For Two Lovers’, ‘My Life Is My Own’, ‘Butterfly’, ‘The Broken Repair Man’, ‘An Error Of Judgement’ and ‘Broken Man’.
