Mariah Carey dislocated her shoulder during a music video shoot yesterday (July 8).
The US singer was shooting a video in New York for the remix of her single ‘#Beautiful’ alongside rapper Young Jeezy when the accident happened. Carey’s husband Nick Cannon was directing the video. Sky News reports that Carey was treated by doctors and is now recovering at home. A spokesperson for the singer has confirmed that she is “fine”.
Earlier this year Mariah and her husband Nick Cannon renewed their wedding vows at Disneyland in California, closing the tourist attraction down to celebrate their sixth wedding anniversary.
Dressed as Cinderella for the occasion, Carey held the private ‘Do you believe in fantasies?’-themed bash to celebrate her and her husband’s nuptials as well as the second birthday of their two children, Monroe and Moroccan, who came dressed in the same outfits as their parents. It was reported that the Fantasy Faire area of Disneyland was closed to the public with Mickey Mouse joining 150 guests invited by Carey and Canon.
The original version of ‘#Beautiful’ features Miguel and is taken from Carey’s forthcoming album ‘The Art Of Letting Go’, due for release later this year.
