Courtney and Brian to make the rock-beast with two heads...

Courtney Love and Marilyn Manson have announced that they will play joint US dates together which are being set up at the moment.

Marilyn Manson has been scathing about Love at every opportunity, telling NME recently: “Courtney never bothered to say hi to me until I sold a million records. She’s an opportunist and I wouldn’t consider her a friend…the way she’s behaved towards me in the media has seemed very exploitative.”

He added: “I’m not interested in being anything to her.”

But in a major volte face yesterday, both parties confirmed that they were planning a tour this year with Monster Magnet supporting.

The abuse so far has been one-way. Courtney also fell out with Manson’s one-time mentor Trent Reznor, with whom the goth-alien-wacko star now enjoys similarly strained relations.

The dates will be announced after Hole complete their tour of Australia and New Zealand.

Meanwhile, SPIN magazine’s editior has filed a $24 million lawsuit against Manson after an alleged assault last year. Manson told MTV that his lawyers are considering launching a counter-sue.

The gruesome twosome to tour? What if they breed? Is this a publicity scam or an Ali Vs Frasier for the end of the millennium? Have your say. Post a message on Angst!
