A 'Holy Wood' multi-media triptych on the way this autumn...

Marilyn Manson‘s new album ‘Holy Wood (In The Shadow Of The Valley Of Death)‘ will be released along with his first movie and novel – both titled ‘Holy Wood‘.

Set for release in autumn, the three new Manson products will be followed by a fine art coffee table book of images, created for and inspired by the film/novel/album.

Manson claims ‘Holy Wood‘ is the third and final part of a trilogy of work started on his ‘Antichrist Superstar‘ album.

Speaking through a news bulletin from last week, the singer revealed the main character in ‘Holy Wood‘ was named ‘Adam Kadmon‘ who:”has played a crucial role in Manson‘s body of work.”

The bulletin continues: “This character is inspired by the alchemical Adam Kadmon, who was thought to be an androgyne much like the one Manson portrayed on the cover of ‘Mechanical Animals‘.

“The album is centered on Adam, who has experienced the subject matter of both ‘Antichrist Superstar‘ and ‘Mechanical Animals‘.”

Manson‘s new album is being billed as his “darkest and heaviest yet” – a relief for some hardcore fans who deserted the singer on the release of his glam-influenced ‘Mechanical Animals‘ album.
