Marilyn Manson has made the first signing to his newly created record label, POSTHUMAN RECORDS.
Manson has signed Washington band godhead, who are due to enter a recording studio with ex-Black Grape producer Danny Saber to put the final touches to their new album, ‘Two Thousand Years Of Human Error’, which will be released before the end of the year.
A statement on godhead‘s official website, [url=]www.godhead.com, claims that the signing to Posthuman sees the band “teamed up with one of the most influential visionaries of our time,” adding: “(we) hope to bring together like-minded individuals to the dawning of a new musical era…where mediocrity is shunned and the carbon copy styles of today’s generic mimics are replaced with an affirmation that beauty, quality and originality do exist.”
Marilyn Manson formed Posthuman Records, which is part of the huge US rap label Priority Records, in April this year. Manson will himself still release his records through the Nothing/Interscope label.
Marilyn Manson is currently in a Los Angeles studio working on his new album ‘Holy Wood (In The Shadow Of The Valley Of Death)’. A silent movie documenting the recording process of the album is still available via Manson‘s website, [url=]www.marilynmanson.net
