Get a taster from the forthcoming album...

Marilyn Manson has posted a soundclip of ‘THE LOVE SONG’, the first piece of brand new music from forthcoming album ‘HOLY WOOD (IN THE SHADOW OF THE VALLEY OF DEATH)’ on his official website [url=]

The brief clip bears out the mooted harder edge of the new material, with a hard rock almost industrial drive behind Manson‘s screamed vocal.

In the track he is heard to sing: “Got love songs in my head/killing a boy”.

Manson promised last week to post at least one brand new unique piece of ‘Holy Wood…’ artwork and/or music on the site each week.

“We’d like this to be a place where the true fans can get what they are looking for without having to find it through unapproved means,” he explained.

Also unveiled in the new posting (August 9) is the cover of Manson‘s soon to be published novel, also called ‘Holy Wood’. It depicts a rifle and two handguns shaped to be a crucifix over a mid American landscape and a hazy background of what may or may not be skulls.
