MARILYN MANSON has posted live footage and photographs from the first dates of his GUNS, GOD AND GOVERNMENT world tour on his official website, [url=]www.marilynmanson.com.
The photographs and video footage are taken from the Minneapolis Orpheum Theatre on October 27 and Milwaukee Eagles Ballroom (28).
The first video clips show live footage of Manson performing forthcoming single ‘Disposable Teens’, as well as ‘The Fight Song’, while the material from the Milwaukee show features Manson, megaphone in hand, taunting the audience.
As previously revealed on NME.COM, Manson’s live show is traditionally very theatrical. At the Minneapolis Orpheum Theatre he dressed up as The Pope and performed a song between two severed heads.
Manson remains on his US tour. The last confirmed US date is at the Pittsburgh Mellon Arena on December 9.
He will return to the UK in late January for a three city tour, calling in Manchester, Birmingham and London. The shows will be “arena size” according to a source close to the band, and a proposed show at the Glasgow SECC now seems unlikely.
