Directed by Beyoncé collaborator Bill Yukich
Marilyn Manson has shared a video for his cover of the Lost Boys theme ‘Cry Little Sister’.
Gerard McMahon performed and co-wrote the original song that went on to soundtrack the 1987 cult teen horror film, starring the likes of Kiefer Sutherland, Corey Haim and Corey Feldman.
The video is the work of Foo Fighters and Beyoncé director Bill Yukich. When sharing the clip, Manson described it as “a supernatural experience.” He continued, “as always, @billyukich with his intimidations and enticements.” You can watch the new video for ‘Cry Little Sister’ below.
Manson’s cover is set to feature on the soundtrack to the upcoming X-Men movie The New Mutants – which is due for release in August 2019.
The new movie stars the likes of Game of Thrones’ Maisie Williams, Stranger Things’ Charlie Heaton and Scream Queens’ Anya Taylor-Joy. It’s directed by Josh Boone.
Last month, Manson spoke of pissing on KoRn’s catering, and using Danzig’s bus for sex. The artist shared an interview with Rob Zombie ahead of their upcoming joint tour, Twins of Evil Tour – The Second Coming. During their chat, Zombie recalled the first time that he became aware of Manson while he was touring with Danzig.
“It was definitely Danzig… Danzig and KoRn was before us,” said Manson. “I used to piss on their catering.”
“Well, you gotta do what you gotta do,” Zombie added, before Manson continued: “I just thought it was funny, they went on before us though. Danzig, I would use his bus as a place for sexual liaisons.”
