The UK hip hop duo support Mr Mathers at his Manchester gig and the second of his two London dates...

UK hip hop duo MARK B AND BLADE have been added as support for EMINEM’s show in MANCHESTER tonight (February 8).

The pair, stepping into the support slot vacated at the 11th hour by Outkast, will take to the stage at the Manchester Evening News Arena first, followed by scheduled support act Xzibit. So Solid Crew will open first tomorrow night in London Docklands Arena, with Mark B And Blade returning for the show on Saturday.

OutKast withdrew from Eminem’s UK shows and their own headlining slot at London’s Astoria next week, so that one half of the duo, Big Boi, could return to the US on Sunday (February 5) to be at the birth of his third child. His girlfriend gave birth to a 6lb 5oz boy who will be named Cross.

Big Boi also has a six-year-old daughter named Jordan and a one-year-old son named Bamboo.

NME.COM will bring a full report from tonight’s Eminem show as it happens.
