Mark Ronson announces comeback single details

'Bang Bang Bang' set for July release

Mark Ronson has announced that his comeback single will be named ‘Bang Bang Bang’.

The single, the first from forthcoming new album ‘Record Collection’, features Q-Tip on rapping duties and MNDR, Yeah Yeah Yeahs‘ tiuring keyboard player, on vocals. It’s out on July 11.

“I didn’t come up with the idea of calling it ‘Record Collection’ until later, but every single person on this record is in my record collection,” Ronson told NME of his collaboration on the album, which also features input from the likes of Boy George, The DrumsJonathan Pierce, Kaiser ChiefsNick Hodgson and Miike Snow.

‘Bang Bang Bang’ is set to air on UK radio from tonight (May 24). ‘Record Collection’, which the producer is releasing under the banner Mark Ronson And The Business, will be out later in 2010.
