‘Yodelling Kid’ Mason Ramsey is set to play Coachella this weekend

Because of course he is.

The 11-year-old boy who became an online sensation after he was filmed yodelling in Walmart will reportedly make an appearance at Coachella Festival.

Mason Ramsey, from Golconda, Illinois, became a viral sensation last week after a video emerged of the youngster singing in his local Walmart store.

The clip spawned countless memes, as well as videos that saw people putting their own unique spin on Ramsey’s unique talents

Now, TMZ claims that he’s set to share the stage with newcomer producer Whethan, who hinted at the appearance on Twitter after fans noticed a similarity between the two.

“Stop saying I look like the walmart yodel kid”, he wrote.

TMZ also claims that sources close to Mason have confirmed his performance – along with an offer from Post Malone.

But while Mason’s schedule means that he won’t be able to make an appearance with Post on Sunday, it’s believed that he could perform on the second weekend of the festival.

Earlier this week, Mason also made his TV debut on ‘Ellen’, where he performed his now infamous rendition of Hank Williams’ Lovesick Blues.

After the performance, Ellen DeGeneres then surprised Mason by giving him the chance to perform at the Grand Ole Opry, a weekly US country concert that has been broadcast since 1925.

Walmart also agreed to pay $15,000 towards his college costs in future.
