Mastodon have posted a video trailer for their forthcoming fifth studio album ‘The Hunter’ online.

The trailer, which you can see by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking, also features the song ‘Black Tongue’, which is set to feature on the album.

The album, which is the follow-up to 2009’s ‘Crack The Skye’, does not have a confirmed tracklisting yet, but the band have indicated that songs titled ‘Blasteroids’, ‘All The Heavy Lifting’, ‘Curl Of The Burl’, ‘Dry Bone Valley’, ‘Stargasm’ and ‘The Octopus Has No Friends’ will all feature as well as ‘Black Tongue’.

Guitarist Brent Hinds has previously said of the band’s new album: “It sounds pretty different than anything we’ve ever done. It’s uncomparable.”
