Tickets for Mastodon’s February 2012 UK tour onsale this morning

Metallers will bring 'The Hunter' over for six dates

Tickets for Mastodon‘s UK tour in February next year go onsale this morning (October 14) at 9am (BST).

The Atlanta metallers, who released their new album ‘The Hunter’ last month, will play six shows on the tour.

The run of shows begins in Bristol at the O2 Academy on February 5 and runs until February 11 when the band headline London‘s O2 Academy Brixton.

The London gig will be the largest UK headline show the band have ever played.

‘The Hunter’ is the follow-up to the band’s 2009’s LP ‘Crack The Skye’ and has been released with a special 3D experience as part of the album’s package. You can watch the band being interviewed earlier this summer at Sonisphere by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking.

Mastodon will play:

O2 Academy Bristol (February 5)
Manchester Academy (6)
Glasgow Barrowlands (7)
Norwich UEA (9)
HMV Institute Birmingham (10)
O2 Academy Brixton (11)

Tickets go onsale on Friday (October 14) at 9am (BST). To check the availability of Mastodon tickets and get all the latest listings, go to NME.COM/TICKETS now, or call 0871 230 1094.
