:THE MC5 are to reform after 30 years and play a one-off show at LONDON’s 100 CLUB this Thursday (March 13) for an audience of just 300.
The remaining members will take to the stage as part the ‘Sonic Revolution- A New Energy Rising’ concert. Various guest vocalists will join the surviving musicians on stage, but are yet to be announced.
The MC5 were one of the most controversial bands of the 1960s, riding a wave of notoriety after releasing their seminal debut, ‘Kick Out the Jams’. Their radical views and uncompromising revolutionary ideals meant that they briefly became the faces of a generation intent on political and social change.
