Mel B contradicts Victoria Beckham and says all five Spice Girls are “definitely touring”

"I stopped nagging and they all said yes"

Mel B has said that all five Spice Girls member will reunite for a tour and more soon, contradicting previous comments made by Victoria Beckham.

Back in February, all five members of the girl band were considering reunion plans, saying that “the time feels right to explore some incredible new opportunities together”

Since then, there’s been reports of a Royal Wedding performance, new music, touring as a four-piece, and even an animated superhero movie

Last month (April), Victoria Beckham appeared to dismiss any Spice Girls reunion speculation – but now Mel B has fuelled rumours once more.

Appearing on Loose Women, Mel B said: “We are in the works of figuring the stuff out. I don’t want to say too much, but all five of us have signed with Simon Fuller. It’s all very exciting.”

Asked what the reunion might involve, the singer answered: “It’s going to be a bit of everything. If it was up to me, we’d go on tour immediately, but you know… maybe we will soon.”

“I’ve always said we’re definitely touring. I think I’ve just been nagging them all a bit too much and then I stopped nagging and they all said yes,” she added.

Victoria Beckham previously told Grazia magazine: “There is no tour, no more music from the Spice Girls, but it was great getting together with them. We were just saying Girl Power is such an important message and how do we communicate that?”

“How do we pass the baton on, how does that look to future generations?” she continued. “And that’s what it’s about with us. It’s not all about the rumours about going on tour and recording new material.”

She added: “I think girl power has always been important. And now, for me, it’s about empowering women through fashion.”

The group last performed at the Olympics Closing Ceremony in 2012.
