The Spice Girl tells it like it is as the chart race between the bands hots up...

SPICE GIRL MEL C has slammed WESTLIFE as “A useless bunch of talentless tossers” as the race between the two acts to reach the Number One album slot hots up.

According to The Sun newspaper this morning (November 8), Mel, aka Sporty Spice, condemned the Irish boyband’s music as “hyped up shit” and said they didn’t even belong in the charts, let alone at the Number One position.

She was speaking at London’s trendy new Red Cube nightclub in the city’s Leicester Square as her band launched their third album ‘Forever’, which was released on Monday, at the same time as Westlife released their new album ‘Coast To Coast’.

Mel C, who was also photographed making obscene gestures, appeared to have been enjoying a few glasses of party fizz, and also had a pop at her ex-boyfriend Robbie Williams saying he was a “cabaret singer” and should just “fuck off”.

Despite Mel’s assertions about her chart rivals, however, it seems that Westlife will beat the Spices to the top of the album charts, with their album currently outselling the girls’ latest offering three to one.
