METALLICA have announced they will play four free shows in SAN FRANCISCO in May before heading to PARIS in June to play three shows in one day.
The metal legends will play the Fillmore Theater from May 18 – 22 (missing out the 20th) and will then perform at three different venues in the French capital on June 11 to prepare for their upcoming summer tour.
The band, who release their eighth studio album ‘St Anger’ on June 9, will play Paris venues La Boule Noire at 1pm, Le Bataclan at 6pm and Le Trabendo at 10 pm.
Tickets for the San Francisco shows will be available to win through the Official Metallica Fan Club, and tickets for the Paris shows go on sale to the general public on May 26.
This summer Metallica will headline the Reading and Leeds Festivals on August 22-24.

They will perform during the US Summer Sanitarium tour, which starts on July 4 in Detroit and ends August 10 in San Francisco.
