Metallica will appear as special guests at the screening of Metallica Untitled, part of the NME at the NFT season at the London South Bank National Film Theatre on Thursday, November 5, the last film in the season.
Filmed by Wayne Isham, the two hour and 20 minute film catches Metallica on their spectacular 1996 world tour; the band will attend to introduce the film and answer questions from the audience.
So far, the NME at the NFT season has seen appearances from Pulp last Sunday and a special preview of Velvet Goldmine last night (Thursday, October 22).
Edwyn Collins appears tonight, presenting a screening of Melvin Van Peebles’ trailblazing blaxploitation thriller Sweet Sweetback’s Badasssss Song and Shaun Ryder and ‘Too Nice’ Tom Brugan will be on hand tomorrow for a screening of the Black Grape documentary The Grape Tapes.
