MIA releases video for new song ‘Poc That Still a Ryda’

MIA has shared a video for new song ‘Poc That Still a Ryda’ – the latest new music from her upcoming new LP.

Earlier this year, M.I.A tweeted that she was handing her “last LP” to her American label. She added that the record would be out in “July. Summertime.”

Describing the song on YouTube, the singer and producer said that ‘Poc That Still a Ryda’ is a “mix of all the songs on my upcoming Lp”.

She continued, “had to do a remix to let u know , i been poor , i been rich , i been brown , i been black , i seen white and i been around the world a few times ay ay ay ay . LOVE IS THE ANSWER what the question is i don’t fucking know. we in this together.”

The singer and producer teased the single on Twitter in April, writing ‘POC that!’ and In the Philippines ” POCPOC means a ” slut “.

In November, M.I.A released the video for ‘Borders’, which portrayed refugees climbing fences and packed into overcrowded boats. Speaking to Now Toronto, she said: “This is the first time we’ve had such a massive migration of human beings since World War II.”
