Merchandise from Michael Jackson’s O2 Arena residency goes on sale

Belt buckles, socks, hats, wallets and t-shirts from aborted shows offered to fans

Merchandise from Michael Jackson aborted London O2 Arena residency has gone on sale despite the singer’s death.

According to CNN, fans were emailed by the 50-date residency’s promoter AEG informing that T-shirts and collectables made for the ‘This Is It‘ tour are up for grabs.

The email was sent to ticket holders earlier today (July 9), and is reported to say: “Early in June, Michael Jackson approved a line of official merchandise for you, his fans. As we mourn the loss of one of the greatest talents the world has ever seen, we are only beginning to feel the impact that Michael left upon us all. A variety of official merchandise commemorates this incredible talent and preserves the legacy that is Michael Jackson.”
