Michael Jackson ‘denies skin cancer reports’

A doctor claiming to be the 'Thriller' singer's spokesman has denied reports he is battling the disease

Rumours Michael Jackson has skin cancer have been denied by a doctor claiming to be his spokesman.

It had been widely reported that the singer had the disease, however Dr Tohme Tohme told the New York Daily News he is in “the best of health”.

“He is great. He in perfect health… he doesn’t have any diseases whatsoever,” he told the newspaper.

The Sun reported yesterday (May 16) that Michael Jackson had cancerous spots and pre-cancerous cells on his face, citing an unnamed “source”.

Tohme told the New York Daily News this was “not true”.

The ‘Thriller’ singer is due to play 50 comeback gigs at London’s 02 Arena this summer, starting in July.
