Michael Jackson’s mother to keep custody of kids

Debbie Rowe gets visitation and retains legal parental rights

Michael Jackson’s mother Katherine will retain custody of his three children, after coming to an agreement with the mother of his two elder kids.

Debbie Rowe will have visitation with Prince Michael Jr. , 12, and Paris Michael Katherine, 11, and will maintain legal parental rights over the pair. Katherine Jackson and Rowe will hire a child psychologist to help them decide how the visits should happen, and where.

The agreement will be looked over by a judge on Monday (August 3), and is expected to be approved, reports the Los Angeles Times.

Rowe reportedly did not receive any money, and will pay her half of the psychologist fees. She has not seen the children in several years. She gave up parental rights after being forced to meet with the children in hotel rooms.

She was married to Jackson in 1996, at six months pregnant. They divorced in 2000, and she received an $8.5 million settlement.

The mother of Prince Michael III aka ‘Blanket’, 7, is listed as ‘unknown’ on his birth certificate.
