Michael Jackson : ‘I would not change my career’

He makes admission as he meets fans in Tokyo

Michael Jackson has said that he would not change anything about his career so far.

He was speaking at a fan party in Tokyo on Thursday (March 8) at a nightclub in the city.

Reading from a statement he said: “I’ve been in the entertainment industry since I was six years old. As Charles Dickens says, `It’s been the best of times, the worst of times.’ But I would not change my career.”

AP reports the singer said he relied on the support of his friends and family, stating: “While some have made deliberate attempts to hurt me, I take it in stride because I have a loving family, a strong faith and wonderful friends and fans who have, and continue, to support me.”

As previously reported, The Jackson 5 are set to reform for a series of gigs in Las Vegas.
