The star wants to celebrate his freedom...

Michael Jackson is reportedly planning a private party for selected fans to celebrate his freedom.

Earlier this week the pop singer was cleared of ten charges, including molesting a 13 year-old boy, giving the boy alcohol, and conspiracy to kidnap. If found guilty, Jackson faced up to 20 years in jail.

The LA Times reports that an invitation only event is planned at the Chumash Casino in Santa Ynez, close to the Neverland ranch.

A spokeswoman for the casino said: “We don’t know who will perform; we’re just told the Jackson family is putting together an event for fans they have selected.”

Michael Jackson has yet to make a public comment after being cleared of the charges.
