On trial Michael Jackson may call on a host of stars including ELIZABETH TAYLOR, Stevie Wonder and

DIANA ROSS in his defence, according to lawyers.

As the process of jury selection in his child abuse trial resumed, the high profile names were read out, also including illusionist David Blaine, US talk show hosts Larry King and Jay Leno, [/a]’s own children.

According to BBC News, Uri Geller, actor Chris Tucker and Michael Jackson Barry Gibb may also be called in [/a]’s defence.

Those that could appear as prosecution witnesses include the mother of the star’s children, Debbie Rowe, former child actor Corey Feldman and journalist Martin Bashir – whose controversial documentary ’Living With [a]Michael Jackson’ is to be shown to jurors during the trial.

Defence and prosecution lawyers have begun the process of narrowing down around 240 potential jurors to a panel of a final 12, with eight substitutes.

As previously reported on NME.COM, [a][/a] denies ten counts of child molestation and conspiracy. If found guilty, the singer faces up to 21 years behind bars.

The trial, which began on January 31, is expected to last up to six months.
