Pop prince Michael Jackson is to make a rare live appearance in the UK… at the ST JAMES PARK ground of unfashionable EXETER CITY FC.
Michael Jackson will be joined on the June 14 charity fundraiser by illusionist David Blaine. Exeter announced today that the star would not perform, rather he will “be holding a short talk to address the people of Exeter.” No announcement has been made as to what Blaine, who last week stood atop an 80 foot pool in a New York park for 35 hours, will do.
Michael Jackson is a close friend of Exeter co-chairman Uri Geller.
Tickets for the unusual event go on sale on Thursday (May 30) at 9.30am. Proceeds will go to Children With Aids and Support For Africa charities. Singer Patti Boulaye and the Golden Jubilee Gospel Choir will also appear.
