Jacko manages to tempt his reclusive friend to come to the New York extravaganza later this year...
MICHAEL JACKSON has tempted reclusive Hollywood legend MARLON BRANDO into making a rare public appearance at his ‘MICHAEL JACKSON: 30TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION, THE SOLO YEARS’ show at NEW YORK MADISON SQUARE GARDEN on September 7.
Brando, a friend of Jackson‘s for 20 years, will join a roll-call of celebrities that already includes stellar names such as Elizabeth Taylor, Gregory Peck, Jane Russell and music stars such as Quincy Jones, Whitney Houston, Snoop Dogg, Britney Spears, Missy Elliott and Dr. Dre.
MTV reports that Brando will be on hand to make a special presentation to Jackson.
The September show marks Michael Jackson‘s first US gig in almost 11 years, though he did briefly join Jay-Z onstage recently at the Hot 97 Summer Jam at Long Island’s Nassau Coliseum during a radio festival.
The anniversary gig will be recorded for a two-hour television special.
