MICHAEL JACKSON is set to play a rare live show in NEW YORK before Christmas.
The star will take to the stage as part of radio station WKTU FM’s charity show ‘Miracle On 34th Street’ on December 19.
The station announced yesterday (December 7) that the King Of Pop would be taking part in the Madison Square Garden event supported by Sisqo, Ricky Martin, Christina Aguilera and Destiny’s Child.
Tickets for the show have been sold out for months but according to a posting on Jackson fansite [url=]www.mjni.com, a number are available via the radio station and online competitions.
A new album by Jackson, his first full-length LP since 1995’s ‘History’, is being mooted for release in March. He is also rumoured to be undertaking a series of projects with Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, the Jewish teacher who will join Jackson when he addresses the Oxford University Union on child care early in the new year.
