Michael Jackson’s son to testify at his father’s wrongful death lawsuit trial

16-year-old Prince will take to the stand at his grandmother Katherine Jackson's civil case against AEG Live

Michael Jackson‘s eldest son will reportedly testify at his father’s wrongful death lawsuit trial.

According to RadarOnline.com, 16-year-old Prince Jackson will take to the stand at his grandmother Katherine Jackson’s civil case against AEG Live. She accuses the promoter of the King Of Pop’s comeback gigs of being responsible for hiring Dr Conrad Murray.

A source told the US-based website: “Prince very much wants to take the stand and plans to tell jurors about specific conversations he had with his father about AEG. Prince will also testify about the fateful day his father died, as he was an eyewitness to the efforts that were made to save his life. There are no plans for either Paris or Blanket to testify though.”

In the lawsuit, Katherine Jackson claims AEG Live were responsible for negligently hiring Murray to care for Michael Jackson in the lead up to his comeback gigs in 2009. The ‘Thriller’ singer died in June 2009 after being administered a lethal dose of Propofol by Murray, who was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter.

The wrongful death lawsuit trial between Katherine Jackson and AEG Live is due to begin on April 2.

Meanwhile, Prince is to make his acting debut on an episode of 90210. He will apparently play a trauma victim who bonds with Silver, one of the show’s female leads, in the season finale of the teen drama, which is expected to air in the US in May.
